Family Pictures

We had family pictures taken over the holidays..... outside! And it was freezing but so much fun! Hence the red noses! Thanks to Katie for lining everything up! I only have a few of the pictures back; I can't wait to get some more to share. I do love this family!

Sean's Eagle Court of Honor

Sean finished his Eagle Project in June of 2008. We have waited for 18 months so that all of the Clark 'eagles' could be home for the event! So when Tanner got home from his mission we realized that the best time to do this Eagle Court of Honor would be at Christmastime when everyone was at home together. It was great to have all five of our Eagles stand up together: Lyle, Nic, Matt, Tanner, & Sean.

It was even more of a bonus to have Grandpa & Grandma Schenk and Grandpa & Grandma Clark come! Thanks to them for making the trip!

Sean celebrated receiving his Eagle Award with Alex Williams. It was a nice night. We had dinner at the church first, and then the Court of Honor, followed by refreshments. (You know, you have to have good food to make such a celebration really good!) Andy Fuhriman, Dave Wilson, Kurt Southam, and Craig Bell participated on the program and all stated how much respect they have for these two young men and how much they have enjoyed working with them. When they called the 'Eagles Nest' to gather, there were 17 of them present. It was very impressive. We do appreciate all who attended and all who have helped Sean with his scouting.

Christmas Nativity Clark Style

Like many families we have a tradition of reading and acting out the story of the nativity. This year we had most all of the parts covered, since we had so many here. Enjoy the style and flair of this group... Cseasar Sean; Angels Grandpa & Grandma Schenk and Brooklyn; Joseph, Mary & baby - Matt, Kate, & Kendyl (Averi was asleep); The wise Nic, Tanner, & Dani; Shepherds Ryan & Ashley with wooly sheep Camryn; Narrator Papa; Photographer Nana; and Director? Steff!

Christmas Morning 2009

It is so much fun to watch the excitement of little children on Christmas morning! Camryn and Brooklyn found a couple of Santa's sleighbells that he must have lost on the back deck. They found that he had nibbled on the cookies that they left out for him.

We absolutely spoiled each other with the outpouring of gifts!

One of the most fun parts of the morning was when Sean mentioned that the only gift left under the tree was the 'pickle present' and the hunt for the pickle began. I am surprised that the tree is still standing. It is definitely re-decorated! Ashley was at last victorious.

Christmas With Everyone In Ohio!

The Tradition of the Christmas Eve Pinata! Tanner, not to be outdone by Sean's incredible snowman pinata of 2007, decided to plant a pinata inside of a pinata! The Penguin outcome was fabulous... definitely rivaling the snowman. All of the little girls took a few shots. Brooklyn really got into the swing of things, but Ashley finished it all off!
