Obviously, these pictures were taken a while ago.... when the weather was warm and sunny.... on some beautiful beach..... when we had hours to just play in the sand....

I'm just reminiscing and looking at fun pictures. And these are three of my favorites! I hope you enjoy them too!

Katie's Birthday

Lyle and I joined Matt, Katie, and Averi at Cheesecake Factory for Katie's 24th Birthday dinner! Averi was so happy (as always) and just laughed and giggled all night. We had a great time - enjoyed good food and terrific company. Happy Birthday Kate, November 20!

The Nana's Utah Trip

I had a great trip to Utah in November. (It was a birthday present from my terrific husband!) It is always so much fun to spend great time with my kids. Sorry I didn't get to see Tanner up at BYU-I. He was busy with soccer tournaments.

Here are a few pictures of some of the cute girls I found out there. I did get to spend a day and a half with all of my sisters and mom and dad. I love being with them all and enjoy those relationships! But didn't have my camera with me to take any pictures.... sad.

Little witches come so cute these days!

This adorable little witch showed up on our doorstep this morning to trick or treat. She just could not be any cuter! We had a fun visit with Matt & Kate & Averi today. Thanks!

A one-touch goal!

Sean's tournament goal versus Shenandoah. One of the prettiest goals I've ever seen.... probably especially since he has been out of play for seven weeks this season! It was a sweet thing!

Osmonds with the Clarks

Lyle found out the Osmond brothers were coming to Zanesville to perform a concert. He decided to email them and invite them to come to our ward and present a fireside that same evening. They accepted and seemed genuinely excited to be here. We had about 500 people attend the fireside at the church. Lyle and I were both impressed with their friendliness, their wit, their down-to-earth style. They really were great. I got to accompany them! And, Lyle is on Jaye's speed dial! You just have to know that we have rubbed shoulders with the famous!

Sean must be the threat they always feel the need to take out!

I really debated posting this because it is so sad for us, but you need to see the size of this knee! Actually the cause of the knee swelling is an opponent's knee to Sean's thigh. It was an incredibly hard hit that happened early in the Tri Valley game last night. Sean played the whole game with a little limping going on. I didn't even know that his knee was swollen until he was getting ready to get in the hot tub last night around midnight. Then after I saw it, I told him he couldn't hot tub - it needed ice! He's tough, but I think he won't be playing the next couple of non-league games. He has to be ready for tournaments next week!

He's Back!

Sean got clearance from the doctor today and played most of the game tonight against Morgan. The first half he played up in midfield and almost had two goals. The second half he played left fullback. He played a great game! The coach is sure happy to have him back. Needless to say, Sean is extremely excited and so are his parents. It is so much more fun to go to games and watch him play and not just stand on the sidelines.

Okay, maybe I'm getting the hang of this... in the simplest of terms! However, if I keep going backwards in time, to post pictures that I love, I could be in trouble. But I really love this picture of my parents and brothers and sisters that was taken during Nichole's wedding in June at the Salt Lake City Temple.

This picture is a month or so old, but it is so cute of Papa and Averi playing at Polaris.

Hey here's our first post!!!
...This is Tanner, and i'm not sure how to put this but... In the alumni game this past week, Sean's team won 3-2. As you can see from the picture, his skills as a sweeper are far superior to my skills as a striker. It was fun playing against each other and I think that the fans would agree that we put on a pretty good show! His team is going to be pretty good this year. The season officially started on Monday, and Sean will be starting as the sweeper for the varsity team. We're looking forward to a good season, and we'll keep you posted as it progresses.
