Winners of the "Witchiest Witch" and "Greatest Hat".
(Didn't really know there was a contest going on.  If I had, I might have dressed up!)

The Witches Tea was held at the Zanesville Country Club as a fundraiser for the Zanesville Day Nursery.  My friend Denise Cox Fairall organized a table of 8 (except one got sick--so 7) of us to go together.  Four of them are instructors at the gym - Becky, Katie, Denise, and Donna.  They are beautiful, fun, crazy women to spend time with!  Not to mention they are in fabulous shape.  We had the most fun, hands down, the most beautiful table of women in the place!  There were probably around 175 to 190 witches in attendance-supporting a great cause!

Steff, Camryn, Nic, Kendyl, and Brooklyn ready to be entertained by Hotel Transylvania!

A great time as always!!! I flew to Utah on Monday afternoon October 15, 2012.  Ashley and Hudson picked me up from the airport and drove me to Bancroft to visit Grandma and Grandpa Schenk.  Tuesday morning Ashley, Hudson, Grandma, and I drove to Rexburg to visit with Tanner.  He gave us a tour of campus, introduced us to his friends and roommates, we enjoyed dinner, and then got to watch his soccer game.  It was a little cold, but it was great to watch him play.  He still has great skills!  We also fit in a visit at Colleen's house, and then Nephi and Colleen came to a little bit of his game.  We really had a great time.  As soon as his soccer game was over at 8:30 pm we drove back to Bancroft.  On Wednesday morning we headed back to Ashley's house.  Baked cookies.

Thursday Ashley and I went to the gym together.  Then we hurried to get ready and meet Karen, Morgan, McKenna, and Brinklie at Thanksgiving Point at Cornbelly's Festival.  We had a lot of fun for a few hours.  Friday morning after the gym and a little shopping, Ashley took me to Matt and Kate's house.  Matt and Averi and I went to the movie theater to see Hotel Transylvania.  (Such a cute, fun, monster movie!)  We then picked up Kate and Elle and drove up to Sandy to the Utah Salt Lake City South Mission to drop off a bike, helmet, and lock for Elder Sean Cole Clark.  It is a bike that Kate's brother, Devin, had on his mission.  They said it had hardly been used and has just been sitting in the Johnson's garage.  It should be a great bike, but it hasn't been used for a few years.  Still like brand new!  Katie was very concerned that we were delivering it with a little dust on it!  She was trying to wipe it off as Matt was putting the wheels on when we took it out of the trunk of their car.  I am sure Sean received it as well as the cookies and trick or treat candy.  It was very nice to meet Elder Morrey and visit with him for a few minutes!  He said they were so glad to have Sean in the mission!  Then we went to Gardner Village to see all of the Halloween witches.  Averi and Elle were so cute running around looking at all of the fun (not real) witches.  Saturday morning Katie, Averi, and I went shopping for Halloween costume 'parts'.  Then Matt, Kate, and girls, along with Ryan, Ashley, and Hudson, and I all went to a pumpkin patch to get their pumpkins!  We enjoyed pizza for dinner at The Brick Oven.  I went back to Ashley and Ryan's on Saturday night, and Ashley and Iwent to see the movie, Perfect Pitch, together.

Sunday we all went to church and then Matt, Katie, Averi, Elle, Nic, Steff, Brooklyn, Camryn, Kendyl, and Nixon came for dinner.  As always, we had very yummy food!  Nic and Steff took me home with them.  Brooklyn and I made a list of the things we should do before I fly home on Wednesday!  These kids are all so much fun!

1)  Movie Night
2)  Pumpkin Patch
3)  Make a Craft
Monday and Tuesday I spent at Nic's and Steff's house enjoying them all.  We went to see the movie Hotel Transylvanie (yes, the same movie I saw with Matt and Averi!  I thought it was so cute!)  Enjoyed Zumba with Steff!  Tried to get Nixon to like me!  Read books and made some crafts.  Got some pumpkins to carve.  I flew home from Salt Lake City on Wednesday night late, October 24, 2012!

Grateful that I can make these fun trips as often as I do.  It is a blessing in my life!
