We just got back from our "Do Something Hard" Youth Conference in West Virginia. The main event was a white water rafting trip. We camped - some in cabins, some in tents. We enjoyed two dances, a fireside with our stake president, a 'fire dance' program, team building exercises, toys on a lake, and a wonderful Testimony Meeting. Sean served on our Stake Youth Council to help plan and facilitate. He designed the T-shirts and conducted the Thursday night Fireside and Dance. I got to go as the Stake Young Women President. Lyle was there as the Bishop of the Zanesville Ward. So it was fun to be there together. Most of Lyle's time was spent at the grill cooking either breakfast, lunch, or dinner for two and a half days. Everyone raved about the steak, the dutch oven potatoes and cobblers, the french toast, the breakfast sandwiches, the bbq pork, and so on. I organized all of the food and just made sure we were running things on time. We had 141 youth and adults in attendance. I thought it was a great time! Would do it all over again this weekend, if it didn't mean coming home and cleaning out all of the coolers and 'stuff'.
