It was a big day following a big night.
Ashley and Ryan hosted a cookout on Saturday night for 20 extra people! Ryan grilled bar-b-que chicken, Ashley had corn-on-the-cob, hot potato salad, fruit, and ..... Of course, it was yummy! We had a great visit -- Grandma & Grandpa Clark, Sue, Quincie, & Sydnie, Kurt, Patti, & Taylor, Grandma & Grandpa Schenk, Karen, Reggie, Morgan, McKenna, and Brinklie, Lyle & I, Brooklyn, Camryn, and Kendyl.
Ryan gave Hudson Scott Nelson a very nice blessing. Great-Grandpa Clark, Great-Grandpa Schenk, Papa, Uncle Nic Clark, Uncle Matt Clark, Uncle Alan Nelson, Great-Uncle Tom Condie, Scott Cunningham, and Tim stood in the circle.
Others attending: Ryan's mom and sisters - Kristie, Aimee, and Laurel; Eva, Megan, and Makenzie; the great-grandmother's; the nana; Steff, Brooklyn, Camryn, Kendyl, and Nixon; Katie and Averi; Sheri, Kristen, Kelsee, and Kylee; Karen, Morgan, McKenna, and Brinklie; Kristen Cunningham; Tim's family; Celina and Adam. Ashley had fixed a brunch for us all to enjoy afterwards at their new home. We enjoyed french toast casserole, quiche, banana crunch muffins, corn muffins, fruit & dips...
