We relaxed at the hotel all morning and enjoyed their yummy breakfast and their beautiful pool.  We checked out at 1 p.m. and boarded the 'Victory'.  The best part of the day was when Sydnie found Grandpa's and Grandma's passports!!
Of course, the first thing we did aboard the boat was hit the deck and the food!  The second thing was Karaoke!

Clark Cruise 2012 - Day 1 and 2 - Puerto Rico

We are ready for some sunshine, adventure, and relaxation on six beautiful Caribbean islands.

Lyle, Sean, and I flew out of Columbus on Friday night, April 27th, destination Puerto Rico....   a great way to spend our 34th Wedding Anniversary!

On Saturday morning, April 28th, Tanner joined us.  That afternoon Nic and Steff, Ryan and Ashley flew in followed by Grandpa Marion and Grandma Janice, Aunt Sue and Sydnie, Robert, Hunter, and Kaden Goodenough.  Fifteen of us in all.  We missed family members who weren't with us and wished they were there.

Saturday night we went to enjoy the Bioluminescent Bay in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, with Yokahu Tours.  It was, once more, a magical experience!

It may be the only one he ever has, and he is more than excited to have it up and running!  If you remember, about five years ago Lyle bought this little car for a steal, he enjoyed it for two weeks, and then it caught fire under the hood - burning up all the electrical wiring.  It sat in our garage for 2 years before he finally found a plan of action.  At long last the car is running like a fine-tuned driving machine, he says.

Hudson's Birthday Party

Ashley decided that it was time for me to visit Utah, so she sent me a ticket!  I was very happy to be there for Hudson's birthday and his party, for Easter, for Averi's dance class, for Elle's first steps, for good visits with Ashley, Ryan, Matthew, Katie, Tanner, and Sean, and to get some new, better color in my hair!!  A bonus was that I got to enjoy a birthday dinner with Michael and many members of my family!

The sad part was that I entirely missed Nic, Steff, Brooklyn, Camryn, Kendyl, and Nixon.  They were off having a wonderful time in San Diego and Anaheim, in the warmth.  I will have to catch up with them soon!

The other sad part was that I packed for warmer weather, and I was cold the whole time I was in Utah.

I am glad to have been able to borrow warmth from Ashley.  You may notice that I am wearing the same sweater in every single picture.... and yes on many different days!  Oh well.

City Creek Adventure

The new City Creek Mall in Salt Lake City is beautiful... besides being a shoppers paradise, you can enjoy strolling along the 'creek', eating at wonderful dining places, and looking at the beautiful sites of the city (especially the Salt Lake City LDS Temple).  I thoroughly enjoyed the experience with members of my family - Sean, Ryan, Ashley, Hudson, Matt, Katie, Averi, and Elle.
